No single program or approach is right for everyone. Here are some of the ways that Mindy structures her work with clients. She can also develop a customized approach based on your needs and schedule.
This is a one-on-one, private, highly focused, 90-minute consultation, which can be done in person, on the phone, or by Skype or iChat. As this is the beginning of our coaching relationship, you and Mindy will examine your personal issues/ obstacles, identify goals and create a plan so you leave feeling excited and equipped to move forward. An individualized program of support and accountability, designed with your unique needs in mind. Together, you and Mindy will explore your behaviors and beliefs about food and your body with the goal of developing a healthy and trusting relationship with food. You’ll become empowered to finally find freedom from your struggles with compulsive or addictive behaviors with food.
This program will powerfully transform your relationship with food — from one that is mired in confusion to one that is joyous, loving and free. You and Mindy will use her book, The Freedom Promise, to examine the limiting beliefs and fears that keep one boxed in a toxic relationship with food; explore not only what to eat but how, why and when to eat; learn how stress impacts our metabolism; and develop a new set of skills to rely on when life gets in the way.
Each group is limited to 6 participants. We will meet weekly for 90 minutes. Included is a copy of The Freedom Promise.
Whether you have met the criteria for discharge or your time is simply up, you now need to get back to living in the real world.
Mindy has been where you are. She knows how frightening it is to leave the comfort and security of your program. Experience with her own recovery has inspired Mindy to create a program of recovery coaching. Together, you and Mindy will navigate the sometimes choppy waters of recovery and ensure your strength and success.
