My signature Framework is based on the 7 Steps to Food Freedom that I’ve developed and shared with countless numbers of clients. When engaging in any of my programs you will find these steps to be a welcome change from traditional tools. These include:

 

  • Gratitude while accepting, finding compassion for, and letting go of attachment to negative self-talk and self-sabotaging messages.
  • Awareness of how stress impacts your well-being and decision making; developing healthier coping strategies to promote self-care and relaxation; addressing anxiety by optimizing gut health, blood sugar, and brain chemistry.
  • Learning to recognize and honor hunger and satiety.
  • Mindfulness at the table, with empowerment and intuitive eating a goal.
  • Healthy movement to honor one’s body as opposed to punishing exercise.
  • Food neutrality, helping you understand and embrace what food can do FOR you, helping you find freedom from the confusion and fear surrounding your beliefs around what food will do TO you. Emphasis on nutrient density and balance, digestive health, blood sugar, hormone, and neurotransmitter regulation, all the while taking into account your unique physiology. In other words, no “all-foods-fit” philosophy.
  • Seeking people, places, and things that both nourish and nurture.
