Makes 12 cookies

Ingredients:

1 cup flax seed meal/ground flax seeds
½ cup almond meal/flour
pinch of sea salt
¼ tsp. cinnamon
¼ tsp vanilla extract
¼ cup coconut syrup
¼ cup coconut oil, gently melted*

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a small bowl, combine the flax meal, almond flour, salt, and cinnamon. Add vanilla, coconut syrup and coconut oil. Using a tablespoon, measure out cookies onto ungreased baking sheet and flatten into cookie shape. Bake for 11 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool completely before eating. (They crumble when warm)

*Gently melt coconut oil but setting the jar in a larger bowl of hot water until oil liquifies
